NFL Lineman Claims He Was Sexually Assaulted By TSA: ‘Extremely Unnecessary And Dehumanizing’

Sebastian Joseph-Day, the defensive end for the Los Angeles Chargers, accused the Transportation Security Administration( TSA) of sexually assaulting him late last week at a California airport.

According to Joseph-Day, the incident took place on Friday at John Wayne Airport in Orange County.

He tweeted,” I really just had a sexual assault by TSA at @ JohnWayneAir.” I’m anxious and believe that this portion of the check is pointless( after he felt it was necessary ), so I asked the gentleman to stop. After three TSA agents swarmed me, they now informed me that I was the issue.

” I’m both for people who do a good job at what they do.” However, he claimed that it was degrading and incredibly pointless. ” I frequently travel for both personal and professional purposes. That is unlike anything I’ve ever encountered at JohnWayneAir.

According to Joseph-Day, the TSA made it challenging for him to report the incident.

” And when I do try to file a complaint, they make me jump through the hoops to do so ,” he said. I’m never posting this on Twitter out of compassion. I’m sharing this so that this gentleman and people won’t ever afterwards treat another person in this manner.

Officials stated in a speech that they were investigating the event and were aware of it.

A tourist who was screened by TSA soldiers at John Wayne Orange County Airport on Friday night is the subject of complaints, the agency said in a statement. ” We are investigating the situation to ascertain whether our procedures were followed and whether any necessary remedial measures must be taken.

The statement continued,” TSA remains committed to carrying out its security monitoring duties while treating every tourist with dignity and respect.
