Newt Gingrich seeks female speaker for GOP unity.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich suggests Rep. Elise Stefanik as the next speaker
During an appearance on Fox News Sunday, Newt Gingrich discussed the Republican Party’s struggle to find a new leader in the House of Representatives. With the House currently lacking a speaker for 20 days, Gingrich proposed that Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) could be a strong candidate for the position.

Gingrich expressed his desire for a female candidate among the current contenders, highlighting Stefanik and Beth Van Duyne as potential options due to their previous experience as mayors before becoming congresswomen.
So far, House Republicans have already considered two speaker nominees, Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), but both faced obstacles that prevented their election. Currently, Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-SC) is serving as the speaker pro tempore.
Several representatives, including Kevin Hern (R-OK), Austin Scott (R-GA), Byron Donalds (R-FL), Pete Sessions (R-TX), Mike Johnson (R-LA), Jack Bergman (R-MI), and House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-MN), have expressed their interest in becoming the next speaker. Emmer has received an endorsement from McCarthy.
Gingrich expressed concern that the ongoing turmoil within the GOP could lead to further chaos in the coming weeks. Drawing from his own experience as speaker for four years, he suggested that a female speaker might be more effective in uniting and rallying the party.
Until a new speaker is elected, the House of Representatives is unable to conduct any business, including addressing the approaching government shutdown deadline on Nov. 17.

How does the language AI model developed by OpenAI handle and respond to ambiguous or unclear queries?
The language AI model developed by OpenAI is trained on a vast amount of data and is designed to handle and respond to a wide range of queries. However, when faced with ambiguous or unclear queries, the model may still generate responses that need clarification.
To address ambiguity, OpenAI has implemented safety mitigations through a two-step process:
1. When users issue ambiguous queries, the model may respond with a clarification-seeking question to obtain more specific information about the user’s intent.
2. In situations where clarification-seeking questions are not enough, or when the model detects potential harmful instructions, it may refuse to provide a response. This helps avoid providing incorrect or potentially harmful information.
OpenAI aims to improve the AI model over time by using iterative deployment, gathering user feedback, and addressing limitations to enhance its ability to handle ambiguous or unclear queries.
