Newsom says he won’t run for president in 2028 if Kamala Harris does

Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) stated he will not run for president in 2028 if Kamala Harris decides to enter the race. since President Donald trump took office, Newsom has been considered a potential contender for the 2028 election, with some of his recent actions signaling his preparations for the next political cycle. During an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper,Newsom emphasized that he wouldn’t pursue a presidential bid if Harris runs,framing it as an obvious choice given her aspirations.
