NBC Writer Calls for Affirmative Action for the Obese

A NBC writer who is obese wants affirmative action for those who are obese. “Don’t leave fat people out of your DEI goals,” Writes Kate Bernyk, NBC Vertical.

“Employers seem to rarely consider fat people when putting together their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion [DEI] goals,” She teaches. “But creating a space for plus-size employees to feel welcome has just as much to do with diversity and inclusion as any other group.”

No.

No, it doesn’t.

DEI is stupid and un-American anyway, but now we’re going to add “being fat” Add to our ever-expanding collection of “identities”?

Isn’t “who I insert my sex organs into” Are you stupid enough?

Just like homosexuals, I have always defended fat people…

If you want to be homosexual, then go gay.

Want to be fat? Go for it!

I say live and let live.

When people like former Mayor Mike Bloomberg (Fascist-NYC) argued that America’s obesity problem increases everyone else’s healthcare costs, my response was, So what? I’m willing to pay for freedom, for the right of people to live their lives however they choose. That’s a tax I’m happy to pay.

In the late 80s, my argument was that committed same-sex married couples should enjoy the same rights and benefits of married couples. This belief is still my stronghold, even though I strongly oppose same-sex marriage. But why shouldn’t they have the same rights?

Oh, but look at us now…

The Alphabet People demand special treatment. They even ask that we agree to allow women to magically transform into men.

Now, the obese need special treatment. We must agree that being fat is good for your health. Good grief. You should listen to this baby.

Before I had started remote work, I would hate going to the office kitchen every January. Nearly every conversation would include how. “bad” People had eaten during the holidays and how did they feel? “good” They had to be right now. As they described exercise as a self-inflicted punishment for eating well, I looked blankly at them.

No, it was not so. You had to listen when people shared their beliefs.

I’m so sorry that happened to you. Were Ben & Jerry’s able to get you through the night?

It would appear at work, which was the worst. While I could report social ads or mute friends quickly, I was unable to escape an email from human resources asking staff to join a weight loss team challenge that includes monthly weigh-ins. Or a boss who encourages all her employees to get Fitbits so they can compete in daily steps. (Both of these are real events that took place at my two previous jobs.

Egads. That didn’t even happen at Auschwitz.

Listen, I’m no fan of workplace busybodies running around telling everyone to count their steps, but I’m also not a grown baby who can’t shrug these things off.

But I’ll tell you this… At least those busybodies come from a place of science… Regardless of their motive, which can be honorable or mean-spirited, at least they are correct in pushing the idea that weight loss is a healthy thing. They aren’t nearly as dishonest and toxic as those anti-science busybodies who tell us to treat fat like an enemy. “identity” oder these savage fat activists telling us what fat is Healthy.

Lizzo is healthy. Yes, smoking is also healthy.

“Fatphopbia” A healthy lifestyle is good for you. We should be worried about getting fat because excess weight isn’t only going to shorten your life. It can affect your spirituality as well as your psychological health. It can cause heart disease. depression. Overweight is not good for you. Nothing. The greatest natural medicine in this world is exercise.

People are entitled to be obese or fat and not be insulted or ridiculed. Some Americans believe that the upside of being able to eat whatever they like in front of the television is worth it. I’m cool with that. It’s even something I can understand. I’ve tried it a couple of times but couldn’t handle the weight gain. It makes me miserable. But that’s me, and that is not the same as LYING about obesity being beautiful and healthy or demanding special treatment at work or bossing people around about what they can and can’t talk about in front of you.

This neurotic is not found in people who feel confident about their identity.

She sure looks thin for an obese woman.
