NASCAR Legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. To Compete in Icebreaker at Florence Motor Speedway

Didn’t get a chance to watch the legendary Dale Earnhardt Jr. when he recently raced in November at the Florence Motor Speedway in South Carolina? Earnhardt will be back at the wheel in February, which is a good thing.

Earnhardt will be racing in a late model stock car on the Florence track for the IceBreaker event, which officially kicks off the 2023 season starting February 10th.

Similar to the South Carolina 400, fans will once again see Earnhardt’s car sporting the special “Mom N’ Pops” Throwback scheme that echoes the cars he raced earlier during his career.

Fans have enjoyed seeing him back on the track almost as much as he’s been to be back behind the wheel. He raced late model stock cars at both North Wilkesboro Speedway, and Florence.

“We’ll try to get back,” Earnhardt spoke to us in an interview. FloRacing Concerning him finishing ninth in Florence. “We’ll see when we can come run another one.”

Earnhardt announced that he was now an entrepreneur in January this year. official co-ownerAlong with other racing personalities like Jeff Burton, Kevin Harvick and Justin Marks, he was part of the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour.

“This is a team come true for me,” Earnhardt stated at the time that he believed this. “I’m a huge fan of the CARS Tour and local short-track racing. The competition, the tracks, and the drivers are some of the best around. These regional series are vital to the quality of racing you see at the top level. Jack (McNelly, CARS Tour founder) has done a tremendous job establishing the CARS Tour as a preeminent series, and I’m thrilled to be part of its future.”
