Nantucket Officials Alerting of Possible Flight of Illegals This Week

Officials in Nantucket, Massachusetts, are warning of a potential migrant flight coming to the town this week, according to a report.

Nantucket Airport authorities received notice of a plane arriving to the airport on Tuesday from the same company that transported migrants to Martha’s Vineyard last month, per a report from Nantucket-based newspaper the Inquirer and Mirror.

BORDER CHIEF: REPUBLICAN BUS STUNTS COULD ENCOURAGE MORE ILLEGAL MIGRATION

The flight plan has not been filed formally, but local police have reportedly alerted town officials about the possible arrival of migrants.

The report comes after the Associated Press reported the findings of documents from the state of Florida regarding the transportation of migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, detailing a bidding war between businesses from the Sunshine State for their services to move the migrants. The program set up was done so to “assist in the voluntary relocation of Unauthorized Aliens who are found in Florida and have agreed to be relocated,” according to the documents.

Nearly 50 migrants were transported to Martha’s Vineyard last month via a flight organized by Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL). The Martha’s Vineyard flight came after Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) has been sending migrants to New York City, Washington, D.C., and Chicago.

These Republican governors have sought to use these transports to draw attention to “open border policies” they want to stop and share the immigration burden with cities that are run by Democrats.
