Mom blames Biden admin for daughter’s death.

Heartbreaking Tragedy: 8-Year-Old Girl Dies in Biden Administration Custody

A Mother’s Pleas Ignored

The recent death of an 8-year-old girl in Biden administration custody has left her mother devastated. Mabel Alvarez Benedicks claims that officials repeatedly ignored her pleas to get her daughter medical attention. According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the girl passed away after experiencing a medical emergency while in custody at the Harlingen Station. Despite being taken to the hospital, she was later pronounced dead.

Benedicks alleges that her daughter died because officials ignored her cries for help. “They killed my daughter because she was nearly a day and a half without being able to breathe,” she told the Associated Press. “She cried and begged for her life, and they ignored her. They didn’t do anything for her.” Although officials claim that the girl’s diagnosis of influenza did not initially require hospital care, Benedicks says they knew of her daughter’s heart problems and sickle cell anemia.

The family crossed the border on May 9, amidst the surge of hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens flooding the U.S. southern border. Benedicks claims that she told agents her daughter was experiencing bone pain, but they wouldn’t listen and told her to give her daughter water. “I just looked at him,” Benedicks complained. “How would he know what to do if he’s not a doctor?”

Another Tragic Loss

This heartbreaking tragedy comes just a week after a 17-year-old minor from Honduras died in Biden administration custody. The deceased minor was identified as Ángel Eduardo Maradiaga Espinoza. According to Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri, staff at the facility where Espinoza died received an email from his cousin informing them that he had epilepsy. However, the information was missed when a case manager viewed his medical history, leaving staff unaware of the condition.

Espinoza reportedly did not tell anyone about his condition and did not have any medication with him, further keeping staff in the dark. “He left with his medicine in April,” said his mother, Norma Saraí Espinoza Maradiaga. “He had it with him.” He died five days after being placed in a facility by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement.
