Missouri Democrat Dragged For Biden-Worthy Lie About AR-15s

Jess Piper, who describes herself as a “rural mom” and “dirt road Democrat” as well as the executive director of Blue Missouri, is facing backlash for tweeting that AR-15 rifles were ineffective for hunting activities on Friday. Piper’s tweet read, “You don’t hunt game with an AR. It destroys the meat. The more you know…”.

However, Piper’s assertion was proven to be false by several Twitter users, including the Indiana state director for Gun Owners of America, who tweeted, “Well Hell, I’ve been doing it wrong all these years! Who knew! All I needed to do was consult with a non-hunting ‘pro’ that thinks she knows everything. That’s an AR in the picture, not that you didn’t know that already being the pro that you are.” Others also pointed out that while some states may ban certain AR models for certain types of big game hunting, it is because the bullets do not always cause enough damage to kill the animals humanely and quickly.

Some Twitter users mocked Piper for her claim, which was similar to President Joe Biden’s inaccurate remarks about the damage caused by AR-15s. On the other hand, Twitter’s Community Notes provided context by highlighting a Time magazine article that confirms how enthusiastically avid hunters use AR-15 rifles for a wide range of game animals.
