‘Misogynistic, Sexist POS’: CNN Insiders Trash Don Lemon After He’s Fired

Former CNN anchor Don Lemon has been making headlines after being fired from the network. While CNN initially released a statement thanking Lemon for his contributions over the past 17 years and wishing him well in his future endeavors, Lemon himself complained that he was not informed directly of his firing and was “stunned” by the news. CNN then fired back, stating that Lemon’s statement was inaccurate and that he had been offered an opportunity to meet with management but instead chose to release a statement on Twitter.

But the drama doesn’t end there. CNN insiders have come forward to slam Lemon, calling him a “misogynistic, sexist POS” and saying that he had lost the respect of all the women on staff. According to sources, women upset at Lemon’s behavior told management that either he had to go or they would. Lemon’s various denigrations of women include suggesting that a sexual assault accuser should have bitten her attacker’s penis and intimating that a politician was past her prime because she was over 50 years old.

It seems that Lemon’s behavior had finally caught up with him, and while he may have thought that his race and sexuality would protect him, it was not enough to save his job. Good riddance, say some insiders, and good luck finding a job elsewhere.
