Merrick Garland Appoints Special Counsel To Investigate Biden Classified Document Scandal

Merrick Garland, the U.S. Attorney General, announced Thursday that he has appointed a Special Counsel to investigate President Joe Biden’s claims about classified documents found in his garage and private office.

Robert Hur, former U.S. Senator, was appointed special counsel by Garland in the investigation. This appointment came after John Lausch (U.S.A. Northern District of Illinois) recommended that Garland name a special attorney.
