The Daily Mail reported that the couple is in talks with Dior, with Markle potentially becoming the face of the company and earning the title of the “mega-bucks Duchess of Dior.”
However, a spokesperson for the royal couple dismissed these rumors, stating that there is no truth to the reports. Similarly, a representative from Dior expressed confusion about how the story originated.

A Beverly Hills socialite fueled the speculation, stating, “There have been rumors for weeks that [Markle] is about to sign a deal with Dior, which has put the gossip mill into overdrive.”
If this deal comes to fruition, it could overshadow the cancellation of Markle’s podcast, as the socialite added, “If she pulls that off, then no one will remember that her silly little podcast got canceled after one season.”
Rumors of the Dior deal emerged shortly after Spotify announced the end of Markle and Prince Harry’s podcast, which they had signed for a staggering $20 million in 2020.
Markle’s company, Archewell Audio, produced 12 episodes of the first season, which aired from August to November 2022. The show aimed to challenge and redefine the labels that hold women back.
While the podcast may be over, Markle is not slowing down. A representative from talent agency WME, which recently hired Markle, confirmed that she is working on new content for her audience on another platform.
In the midst of the podcast cancellation, Spotify executive Bill Simmons took a swipe at the Sussexes, calling them “f***ing grifters” and expressing regret that they didn’t launch a different podcast together.
