Daily Wire Host Matt Walsh Responds to Bill Maher’s Question About the Origin of the “Woke Mind Virus”

During a recent episode of “Real Time with Bill Maher,” the host asked Elon Musk about the “woke mind virus” and how it started. Daily Wire host Matt Walsh played a viral clip of the exchange on his show and agreed with Maher and Musk’s comments about the “woke stuff.” However, Walsh believes Maher should look in the mirror to see where the “woke mind virus” truly began.

The Origin of the “Woke Mind Virus”

“And no it didn’t come from bats and it wasn’t grown in a lab,” Walsh said. “And it didn’t fall out of the sky. It didn’t climb out of the ground or something. … Bill you know what’s the origin of the ‘woke mind virus,’ you.”

Walsh believes that liberalism and the leftism ideology that Maher espouses is the true origin of the “woke mind virus.”

Conservatives Need to Speak Up

Walsh believes that conservatives need to speak up about the true origin of the “woke mind virus” instead of simply applauding Maher’s comments. “And the more that people like Bill Maher can pretend that wokeness is completely divorced from the leftism that he ascribes to … the worse it is,” Walsh said.
