Reality TV star Jazz Jennings recently posted a video on Instagram, highlighting clips from conservative commentators, including Daily Wire podcast host Matt Walsh. Walsh responded directly to Jennings, refuting claims made in the video.

Addressing Jennings’ Concerns

Jennings expressed frustration that people are involving themselves in her private life and that the trans community is “under attack.” Walsh acknowledged her concerns and apologized for the public spectacle of her conversation with her mother about her emotional and psychological pains. However, he pointed out that Jennings’ mother invited cameras into their family life long before Jennings could have consented to it.

Childhood Lost

Walsh argued that even if children could be transgender and change genders, it would still be wrong to turn them into a “public exhibition” for fame and money, which he accused Jennings’ parents of doing. He expressed sadness that Jennings did not have a childhood like his, where he was watching cartoons and playing outside. Walsh believes that Jennings’ mother took that away from her.

The Deepest Form of Abuse

Walsh believes that Jennings has been fed lies her entire life, lies that deprive her of the recognition of her true self. He called it the deepest form of abuse and accused the people in Jennings’ life of exploiting her confusion for profit. Walsh concluded by telling Jennings that she deserves the truth, even if it hurts to hear it.
