Mark Lewis: Why Leftist Ideologies Always Fail

I will briefly discuss the origins of Leftist philosophy. I will also explain why I believe government and force is essential for a better society. There is an inherent contradiction in their system which would nullify it, but the Leftist’s fundamental understanding of human nature is in error, and thus any arrangement based on it is doomed to failure. It has.

The history of modern leftism is fascinating, but I am unable to fully explain it here. It has many predecessors (Locke, Helvetius), but its current manifestation is rooted within Darwinian materialism (one of the foundations of Marxism). This hypothesis suggests that humans evolved naturally from random events. “lower” There are many forms of life. Pure, undiluted Darwinism, thus pure leftism, is atheistic—no God created or controlled the process. Human beings are simply blobs and motionless matter. Only a different set of molecules can make you different than a cockroach. That’s completely by chance. It is impossible to be human and a cockroach can only help you being a mouse. This is not a complete truth.

Humans are simply molecules in motion and can only react to the environmental forces around them. In such a system, there is no freedom to choose. We are responsible for our actions, and no one can free us from it. Criminals aren’t guilty of “crimes”; it isn’t their fault, they respond exclusively to environmental factors. Poverty has been identified as a major cause of crime. Changes in the environment can be made to improve crime prevention. “war on poverty”Human behavior can be altered. An apple tree will produce more apples if it is in a favorable environment such as sunshine, soil, good water, sunlight, etc. The apples aren’t able to withstand high temperatures. “choice” In the end, they respond only to their environment. Because humans are molecules made by chance into the things we are, they will only respond to external stimuli. People thus aren’t “good” Or “bad” Except as their environment requires.

Leftist intellectuals believe humans, especially them, have evolved to the point that they can control evolution. All they need is our consent. They will make a Utopia through good laws and education so that everyone can live in it. “good” Respond to the environment.

This philosophy is contrary to Christianity and other world religions that believe man is the offspring of a Divine Creator. They are given freedom to choose how they live. The majority of conservatives believe in this philosophy, regardless of whether they are religious or not. “religious” You can’t. People are not merely materialistic, naturalistic animals. Their only instinct is to respond to the environment. Human behavior is influenced by culture, tradition, and other environmental factors.This is something that no one should deny. The conservative mind believes that humans are free to choose their destiny and rise above their circumstances. Liberals say that people can only choose their destiny. “good” Or “evil” In response to (“systemic”(i) their environment, regardless of the stimuli they get from outside. Change the stimuli and the environment to change behavior. It’s “science.” When people do evil, it’s the fault of the system (capitalism is usually blamed, or now, “white supremacy” And “racism”), not the fault of the individual.

Liberalism and conservatism are therefore based on fundamentally different views of human nature. Liberals seek power to create an earthly paradise. They believe they have control over all environmental factors, including climate. Conservatives believe in freedom but with limits that are based on timeless principles of right-and-wrong. People can and must be incentivized to behave in a positive manner and be disciplined so that they use their freedom for good and not evil. It is family and religion that are best to do this, not the government.

Socialism is an example of liberal failure. The economy is controlled by the government from the top. It doesn’t work because it restricts people’s ability to choose what is best for them. No one can dictate what another person wants to buy. Only the free market is compatible with our human nature.

Liberal morality is also dangerous. Let Edmund Burke explain: “Society cannot exist unless a controlling power upon will and appetite be placed somewhere; and the less of it there is within [freedom of choice], the more there must be without [government tyranny].” People must use their freedom to control themselves—self-government. Or they will need to rely on the government. Freedom or tyranny. The Right vs. Left

Thus, liberal politicians’ fundamental mistake is believing that human beings can be transformed by legislation, in effect, by force. They are wrong and this is why political systems, nations and dynasties fall for a while and then rise again. They are unable to grasp the most fundamental concept of freedom, which is found in the heart of the person, and not in government laws. Resentment, rebellion and revolution will all result from forcing people to conform. Religion has been around since the beginning. Christianity has survived over 2,000 years, despite every political system and upheaval. Jesus understood that people can only be transformed from the inside, in the heart, and not through external laws. The existence of religion is not going away.

The greatest threat to self-serving, elitist politicians is religion. They lust after control and the Shangri-la that grants them totalitarian power. They are only more pitiable than those who believe their lies. These lies have been repeated numerous times throughout history, and have caused many people to lose their lives. For, what do you do with the rotten apples, the apples that don’t respond to the perfect environment you created for them?

You can destroy them. You can destroy as many as you need.
