Mark Lewis: Why Leftist Ideologies Always Fail

I will briefly discuss the origins of Leftist philosophy. I will also explain why I believe government and force is essential for a better society. There is an inherent contradiction in their system which would nullify it, but the Leftist’s fundamental understanding of human nature is in error, and thus any arrangement based on it is doomed to failure. This is what it has.

The history of modern leftism is fascinating, but I am unable to fully explain it here. It has many predecessors (Locke, Helvetius), but its current manifestation is rooted within Darwinian materialism (one of the foundations of Marxism). According to this hypothesis, humans evolved naturally and randomly from. “lower” All forms of life. Pure, undiluted Darwinism, thus pure leftism, is atheistic—no God created or controlled the process. This means that human beings are nothing but blobs in motion. There is only one thing that makes you different from a cockroach: a different arrangement of molecules. This difference is entirely by chance. A cockroach cannot help but be a cockroach, and you can’t help being human. Of course, there is some truth to this.

Humans are simply molecules in motion and can only react to the environmental forces around them. In such a system, there is no freedom to choose. No free will means we aren’t responsible for what actions we take. Criminals aren’t guilty of “crimes”; it isn’t their fault, they respond exclusively to environmental factors. Poverty has been identified as a major cause of crime. Changing the environment can help to reduce crime. “war on poverty”It is possible to modify human behavior. An apple tree will produce more apples if it is in a favorable environment such as sunshine, soil, good water, sunlight, etc. Apples are not prone to disease. “choice” In the end, they respond only to their environment. Because humans are molecules made by chance into the things we are, they will only respond to external stimuli. People thus aren’t “good” Oder “bad” Other than what their environment demands.

Leftist intellectuals believe humans, especially them, have evolved to the point that they can control evolution. All they need is our consent. They will create a utopia through education and good laws so that everyone can live in peace. “good” Environment and react accordingly.

This philosophy is in direct contradiction to Christianity and many other world religions which hold that man is an offspring of God. The Creator gives them freedom to choose how to live. The majority of conservatives believe in this philosophy, regardless of whether they are religious or not. “religious” Or not. People are more than naturalistic, materialistic animals. They have no other instincts and respond to the environment. Human behavior is influenced by culture, tradition, and other environmental factors.This is something that no one should deny. According to the conservative, people have free will and are able to make their own decisions. Liberals say that people can only choose their destiny. “good” Oder “evil” As a result, (“systemic”They will respond to stimuli from the outside. You can change the stimuli and environment to change your behavior. It’s “science.” When people do evil, it’s the fault of the system (capitalism is usually blamed, or now, “white supremacy” And “racism”), not the fault of the individual.

Conservatism and liberalism are based on fundamentally different beliefs about human nature. Liberals desire power to create an Earthly paradise. They believe that they now have the ability to control all environmental variables, including the climate. Conservatives believe freedom is possible, but it must be governed by eternal principles of right or wrong. People can and must be incentivized to behave in a positive manner and be disciplined so that they use their freedom for good and not evil. It is family and religion that are best to do this, not the government.

Socialism is a prime example liberal failure. The economy is controlled top-down by the government. It is ineffective because it prevents individuals from choosing their own needs and wants, instead of what the elite believes is best. No one can dictate what another person wants to buy. Only the free marketplace is compatible with human nature.

Liberal morality can also be disastrous. Let Edmund Burke explain: “Society cannot exist unless a controlling power upon will and appetite be placed somewhere; and the less of it there is within [freedom of choice], the more there must be without [government tyranny].” People must use their freedom to control themselves—self-government. Or they will need to rely on the government. Freedom or tyranny. The Left vs. Right

Thus, liberal politicians’ fundamental mistake is believing that human beings can be transformed by legislation, in effect, by force. They are wrong and this is why political systems, nations and dynasties fall for a while and then rise again. They miss the most fundamental idea, namely that freedom is within the human heart and not produced by government laws. Resentment, rebellion and revolution will all result from forcing people to conform. Religion has been around since the beginning. Christianity, for instance, has survived through all kinds of political systems and upheavals for over 2000 years. Jesus taught that human behavior can only be changed by the individual, and not external laws. Religion has existed for thousands of years and will continue to exist long after the current political tyrannies are gone or have been replaced by something worse and more sinister.

The greatest threat to self-serving, elitist politicians is religion. They lust after control and the Shangri-la that grants them totalitarian power. People who believe lies are more dangerous than politicians. These lies have been repeated many times throughout history and have cost thousands of lives. For, what do you do with the rotten apples, the apples that don’t respond to the perfect environment you created for them?

You can destroy them. You can destroy as many as you need.
