Mark Lewis: Donald Trump’s Accomplishments as President, Part Three

My first two articles in this series have provided information about the accomplishments of Donald Trump’s administration in eight different areas. This is a great list and I will add to it. Of course, we must understand that much of this is the reason why Trump hates the Left. Their anti-capitalistic, pro-China, pro-socialism, hate America, and green agenda were all threatened—especially by the success of what Trump did. They had to take him out of power. And they succeeded in doing so—thus far.

It is highly unlikely that most Americans know the truth about Trump’s accomplishments. The mainstream media has never even mentioned it. This information must be shared with as many people possible.

9. The southern border

• Built over 400 miles of the world’s most robust and advanced border wall.
• Over 87 percent of illegal crossings have been stopped in areas where the wall was constructed.
• Nearly 5,000 soldiers were deployed at the Southern border. Mexico also deployed thousands of soldiers and national guardsmen on the Mexican side of the border to protect it.
• End of the dangerous Catch-and-Release. Instead of aliens being released into America pending future hearings and never being seen again, they were detained pending removal and finally returned to their homeland countries.
• Initiated three historic agreements of cooperation with El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras to stop the fraud in asylum and to resettle illegal migrants in third countries while they wait for their asylum applications.
• Mexico entered into an historic partnership, commonly referred to as “the” “Migrant Protection Protocols,” Safely return asylum-seekers from Mexico to await their hearings in the United States.Joe Biden has made this impossible. America doesn’t have a southern border anymore, and some Democrats have complained about that. If it hadn’t been for Mitch McConnell and the Washington Establishment, there is no doubt there would be a wall across the entire expanse of the American-Mexican border now. It wouldn’t matter. Biden would have taken it down. This could be where Trump is most missing. Biden is diluting America to non-recognizability.

10. NATO, foreign affairs and the military

• By 2024, NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies) has secured a $400 billion increase for defense spending and more than twice the number of members that have met their minimum obligations.
• Secretary General Jens Scholtenberg gives credit for strengthening NATO.
• Efforts to reform and streamline United Nations (UN), and reduce spending by $1.3 million
• Allies including Japan and Republic of Korea committed to increasing burden sharing.
• We protected our Second Amendment rights by declaring that the United States would never ratify UN Arms Trade Treaty.
• We rescinded the terrible, unilateral Iran Nuclear Deal and imposed severe sanctions on the Iranian Regime.
• The brokering of historic peace deals between Israel and Arab-Muslim states, including the United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Bahrain and Sudan.
• Rebuilt the United States Military with more than $2.2 Trillion in defense spending, including $738 Billion for 2020.
• Three pay raises were secured for service members and their families, the largest increase in a decade.

This is a partial listing, and space constraints mean that it must be limited. There are many more items that could be added to this list (e.g. Israel or other Middle Eastern achievements), and you can read them on the website provided.

11. Education

• Tax Cuts and Jobs Act extended School Choice. Parents can use up to $10,000 from their 529 education savings account for tuition at K-12 public, private or religious schools of their choice.
• The 1776 Commission, a pro-American lesson plan designed for students, was launched to encourage patriotic education.
• Federal government banned the teaching and practice of Critical Race Theory.

While there is still much to be done, it is evident that these are some of the most notable achievements.

These three articles have given only a cursory survey of Mr. Trump’s accomplishments while in office. As noted, most Americans don’t know about them because they were never reported by the Democratic Party’s press. We were only aware of his racist tweets. That is the battle we continue to face—getting the positive message out, despite the opposition faced in the “mainstream media.” This is one of our greatest challenges when it comes to saving the country.

This information won’t matter to the depraved Leftists. They hate Trump. Pardon the pun. Trumps everything. To them, evidence and the benefit of the American people are meaningless. We can only hope that every liberal is not a closed-minded hate-filled evil wretch. We might be able to help someone if we are able to spread this information.

He will need to undo the damage done by the Biden government if he is elected president in 2024. He will have to fight the Left, which will do everything in its power to defeat him. Given the horrors he endured during his term, it is remarkable that Trump has been able to accomplish so much.  

Can he make a return to Washington and “Make America Great Again”? This is in the control of the American people. As long as there are America is a better place after Joe Biden’s two-year tenure.
