Marianne Williamson Teases 2024 Biden Primary Rematch

Former presidential candidate Marianne Williamson70-year-old teasingly poses a challenge President Joe Biden Vote for the Democratic nomination in 2024. 

The self-help guru became a viral sensation during the 2020 primary debates. Kamala Harris was the then-Senator (D-CA), dropped out of the race before voting began. Williamson later endorsed Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). Now, Williamson says she will make an announcement early next month. 

“As America gears up for the 2024 presidential election, I’m preparing an important announcement on March 4th in Washington DC,” Williamson stated. 

She shared her story POLITICO Friday’s protest by Biden regarding the economy was made by her, who said that such a campaign speaks to her. “disconnect” There is a difference between the party elites of America and the American people. She stated that her campaign strategy would be to “tell the truth.”

Joe Biden is expected again to run, but has not yet officially declared his intention. A Williamson candidacy, however, would be Biden’s first high-profile challenger for 2024 — and possibly his only one if Democrats stay in line. 

Williamson was bluntly asked Friday by a reporter about critics who claim she has not. “no conceivable path forward” And another campaign would just be a “vanity project,” The candidate invoked other movements throughout American history. 

“Abolitionists would not have thought that abolishing slavery was possible,” Williamson stated. “The suffragists would have had days when they didn’t think women’s suffrage was possible. Civil rights workers would have thought that desegregation wasn’t possible.”

Williamson became a household name as the author and host of 14 books. She also made frequent appearances at Oprah Winfrey. In 2014, Williamson ran an unsuccessful independent House campaign. She is also the founder of Project Angel Food which delivers food to the sick and is a cofounder of Peace Alliance, an education and activist group.
