The Toledo Police Department said that many victims were taken to nearby medical facilities after officers responded to a report of a shooting near a community street festival on Saturday evening.Police are still searching for the suspect or suspects and warned the public to expect a significant police presence while investigators determine what happened. The shooting occurred at about 5:37 p.m.,and the Old West End Festival is a two-day event with live music and food vendors.
The Toledo Police Department said Saturday evening “many victims have been transported to nearby medical facilities for treatment” after officers responded to a report of a person shot near a community street festival.
The department is currently searching for the suspect or suspects involved, and asked the public to “expect a significant police presence as officers continue their search and investigators work to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
