Man accused of cyberstalking Katie Miller, wife of Trump aide

A man from Massachusetts was arrested and charged wiht cyberstalking Katie Miller, the wife of White House Deputy Chief of staff Stephen Miller. The victim, described as a prominent Republican living in Washington, D.C., was targeted through multiple phone calls-over 40 times between August 3 and September 23-using various phone numbers. the messages sent to her, her husband, and her parents were considered disturbing. The incident was confirmed by the Department of Justice and reported by the Washington Examiner.


A Massachusetts man was arrested and charged on Thursday for allegedly cyberstalking Katie Miller, the wife of White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller.

The Department of Justice said the victim is a “prominent” Republican living in the Washington, D.C., area. The Washington Examiner later confirmed the main victim was Katie Miller after other news outlets did the same.

John Anthony Proia III, a 41-year-old resident of Waltham, is accused of using multiple phone numbers to contact his target at least 40 times between Aug. 3 and Sept. 23, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts. The office characterized the messages sent to the victim, her husband, and her parents as “disturbing.”
