Maher demands attention to black-on-black crime: ‘Why is this being ignored?’

During the latest episode of his show, “Real Time,” Bill Maher didn’t hold back when he called out the media for ignoring the issue of black-on-black crime in Democrat-run cities like Chicago. Maher was joined by Brown University economist Glenn Loury and international relations scholar Daniel Bessner for a panel discussion where he pointed out that most of the shootings in Chicago are young black men killing other young black men. Maher wondered why the media never talks about this issue and why there aren’t more black celebrities speaking out against it. He also suggested that bad schools in predominantly black neighborhoods could be one reason for the higher crime rates. Maher believes that getting kids to learn, read, and have a job is the real solution to this problem, rather than just throwing more money at it. It’s time to address the real issues and find real solutions.
