‘Long Road Ahead’: ‘Glee’ Star Lea Michele Shares Update About 2-Year-Old Son After He Suffers ‘Scary Health Issue’

Former “Glee” Star Lea Michele Shares Update on Son’s Health

Lea Michele, the 36-year-old actress and former “Glee” star, recently shared an update on her 2-year-old son Ever’s health after he suffered a “scary health issue.” Speaking to PEOPLE magazine at the Time 100 Gala in New York City, Michele revealed that Ever has been hospitalized multiple times since March and has a “long road ahead.”

Despite the challenges, Michele expressed gratitude for the support she has received from her Broadway cast and family, including her husband, businessman Zandy Reich. “I’m so happy to be here and honored more than anything,” she said.

Earlier this month, Michele shared on her Instagram Story that Ever had to be hospitalized again after being home for a while. “Today was a hard day,” she wrote. “As parents, we have to be strong for our kids. But sometimes you just want to break down and cry.”

Through it all, Michele has remained strong for her son and has found moments of gratitude. “These hard times show you truly what matters and is important in life and how much we have to be grateful for,” she said. “It’s been hard, to say the least, but our boy is such a champ and is going to be ok. But it still hurts.”
