Lizzo And Jack Black Confuse ‘Star Wars’ Fans With Cameos In ‘The Mandalorian’

The Star Wars spinoff series, “The Mandalorian,” has made headlines once again with the guest appearances of Lizzo and Jack Black in its latest episode, “Chapter 22: Guns for Hire.” In the series, Pedro Pascal plays the lead role of Din Djarin in the Disney+ show.

Lizzo and Black portray the characters of the Duchess and Captain Bombardier, a married couple that reigns over the planet Plazir-15. The planet is currently being threatened by its droids, and Din Djarin, Grogu and Bo-Katan meet the couple during their travels.

The latest episode also features Back to the Future star Christopher Lloyd as Commissioner Helgait. Following the cameo appearances, social media users expressed their surprise and confusion about the unexpected guests.

Lizzo, who had previously dressed up as “Star Wars” characters for Halloween, took to Twitter to share her excitement about the cameo by stating: “As a kid my dad showed me Star Wars like a rite of passage. When I got the role of The Dutchess [sic] I cried all day. Dad I wish u were here to see this! Thanks to everyone in the Galaxy I am now part of the ever-expanding saga of the stars.” Jack Black also commemorated his cameo by posting a picture of him and Lizzo in full makeup and costumes to Instagram.

While some viewers admitted that the two guest stars were not horrible in the episode, their cameos still left many fans confused.
