Lindsey Graham confronts boos at Trump rally in SC.

Sen. Lindsey Graham Faces Jeers at Trump Rally in Hometown

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) found himself in the midst of an irate crowd at a campaign rally for former President Donald Trump in his hometown of Pickens, South Carolina. The atmosphere was tense as the crowd expressed their disapproval with boos and jeers.

“Well, you want to find something in common?” Graham responded to the crowd, attempting to calm them down. “Just calm down a second,” he added.

Graham’s Personal Connection to Pickens

Graham tried to establish a connection with the crowd by highlighting his personal ties to the town. He emphasized that Pickens, South Carolina, is home to the most US Medal of Honor recipients.

“This is the place where people pay the taxes, fight the wars, and tell you what they believe,” Graham expressed to the disgruntled rallygoers.

Graham’s Relationship with Trump

The loudest boos erupted when Graham mentioned his relationship with the former president.

“I found common ground with President Trump … I [came] to like President Trump, and he likes himself, so we got that in common,” Graham stated.

Graham declared his continued support for Trump in the 2024 presidency, emphasizing that he has never seen anyone as tough for America as Trump.

“We got a lot of good people running, but there’s nobody our enemies are afraid of like Donald Trump,” Graham asserted.

Graham also warned about the potential consequences of a Democrat victory in 2024, including packing the Supreme Court, granting statehood to Puerto Rico and D.C., and abolishing the Electoral College.

“When it comes to Donald Trump, the best is yet to come,” Graham concluded.
