Let’s’s Get Ready To Rumble: Unpopular Biden Is Prepared To Announce Reelection Bid Next Week.

The Washington Post reported on Thursday that President Joe Biden is getting ready to launch a campaign statement movie for reelection.

Aides are working to release the message on Tuesday, which is the four-year anniversary of Biden’s 2020 campaign announcement, according to the Post. Politicoreported the date of the planned announcement could change.

Biden, who is 80 years old, is already the oldest sitting president in history and would be 86 years old at the end of a second term. Age is a touchy subject for the octogenarian, who reportedly snapped at an acquaintance last year, “You think I don’t know how fucking old I am?”

The second well-known Democrat to run for president in 2024 would be the leader. Both Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an anti-vaxx advocate, and self-help artist Marianne Williamson, announced their runs in the previous two weeks.

Biden has hinted for weeks that he would soon announce his reelection bid. He told reporters in Ireland last week it was coming “soon” and admitted to NBC’s Al Roker earlier this month that he “plan[s] on running.”

The announcement comes at a rocky time for Biden’s favorability. It fell to 39 percent this month, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll, just 3 points away from his lowest ever rating. In 40 U.S. states, according to Morning Consult, Biden’s favorability is underwater.

The White House’s preparations also come as an IRS whistleblower alleges the president’s son Hunter Biden is receiving “preferential treatment” in an investigation into alleged tax fraud. The official is seeking whistleblower protections in exchange for testimony to Congress. The White House has denied the claims.
