Laura Hollis: Resist the “Climate Change” Power Grab

The World Economic Forum, insect overlords, gathered in Davos (Switzerland) for their annual confab. This year, their focus was “crisis.”

Everything is a “crisis” For the WEF, their minions and corporations leaders around the world, those crises are always “unprecedented.” However, this year they are trying to create more panic around the world. They declared 2023 as the “The Year of Panic.” “year of the ‘polycrisis.'” Also, you can have multiple crises at once. (Which is essentially the same thing they’ve been saying over years but with an additional, terrifying epithet.

Where is all of this money coming from? Why, from you, of course — the average citizen — from whom Everything It will take your money, your car and single-family home as well your freedom and food. But that’s OK, because when the central planners finish, utopia will be ours.

Fourth, the rampant hypocrisy provides a glimpse into what these megalomaniacs plan for their dystopic future. Although the seas are supposed to be rising, they still own properties on the beachfront. You shouldn’t be driving a car, but they fly everywhere — including into Davos — on private jets. Although a modest home might be a problem for you, they have many mansions that remain empty the majority of the time.

This was the same pattern that underpinned the deceitful and propagandistic campaigns around COVID-19. Hysterical predictions about the lethality of COVID-19 were based on inadequate information. Our government lied about its role in the development and funding of the virus, and government policies were clearly designed to maintain — and exploit — public ignorance. Scientists, doctors, and other medical professionals who pointed out the fact that there was a laboratory leakage; who advocated for cheap and easily available drugs to treat the symptoms of the virus; and who questioned safety of experimental viruses, and called attention to the possible deaths and side effects. “vaccines” We were called conspiracy theorists, kooks, and conspiratorialists. We now know that social media was used by the government to silence these courageous individuals and keep the truth hidden from the public. While the rest of us were kept in lockdown, the powerful politicians enjoyed special trips to the hair salon, maskless parties, dinners at high-end restaurants, and vacation trips.

The WEF seeks total power in order to address “crises.” We must remember that throughout history, the worst crises faced by humanity — wars, famines, plagues, starvation, slavery, death on a widespread scale — were either caused by those in power or exacerbated by them. These horrible results don’t have to be driven by evil intent; even simple errors can cause the same level of destruction. Tens of millions of Chinese died from the famine caused by Chairman Mao’s policies “Great Leap Forward.”

You’re as dead if the central planners accidentally screw up once you have total control.
