In a recent Instagram post, Kourtney ‌Kardashian shared the harrowing ⁣experience of being rushed into emergency fetal surgery. The news prompted her husband, Blink-182’s Travis Barker, to drop⁣ everything and rush to her‍ side.

“I will be forever grateful ⁤to ​my ⁢incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life. I am eternally grateful to my⁤ husband who‌ rushed to my side from tour to be with​ me in⁣ the hospital and take⁣ care ⁤of me ⁢afterwards, my rock,” Kardashian captioned a black-and-white‍ snap of her hand ⁤in Barker’s. “And to my mom, thank ‌you for holding my⁢ hand through this.”

As ​someone who ‍has had three easy ‍pregnancies⁤ in ⁣the⁤ past, ‌Kardashian admitted that she wasn’t prepared for the fear ⁢that⁤ came with urgent fetal ‍surgery. She expressed her newfound‌ understanding and respect for mothers who have had ‌to fight​ for their babies while pregnant.

“Praise be to God. Walking out⁤ of the hospital with my baby⁤ boy in my ⁤tummy and safe​ was ‍the truest blessing,” she concluded.

Updates and Gratitude

Kardashian had initially announced her pregnancy, her first with Barker,⁢ during a Blink-182 concert. Since⁣ then, she ⁢has been providing regular updates for her ⁤fans⁤ on Instagram. The first sign that something was wrong came when the band abruptly announced the postponement of their tour, and⁤ Barker rushed home from Europe.

“Due‍ to an⁤ urgent ⁤family⁤ matter, ​Travis ⁤has had to return home to the States. The Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin shows are being postponed. More information in regards to⁤ his ⁢return to Europe and‌ rescheduled dates⁣ will be provided as soon ‌as available,” the band shared via ⁣Instagram.

Barker also shared an‍ update, expressing his gratitude​ for the successful emergency surgery. “God is great.⁢ I flew home for a ⁢life-threatening‍ emergency surgery for our baby that I’m so grateful ‍went well. I want ​to say‌ thank you⁢ for all the support. Tour resumes Friday,” he tweeted.

While the couple did not provide specific details about ⁢the surgery, they both expressed their⁣ gratitude to God for keeping their⁣ baby safe.
