Kevin McCullough: A Woke Defense, Is The Worst Offense

Here it is, Super Bowl weekend! 

Do they care? Is there anyone else in Kansas City or Philadelphia who cares? (It is not just the Eagles that are the most beloved team in their state.

But someone cares. 

The White House is paying close attention. 

For a pre-game interview, presidents sit down with the host network. In 2023, the tradition that has been around for nearly as long as the game will be ended. There appears to be some disagreement over the reason. However, whatever the reason, President Obama, and any President who has a simple phone call and a wave of his hand, can reopen the debates and answer some questions. Barack Obama did it nine years ago with Bill O’Reilly of Fox. The same thing was done with CBS four years ago by Donald Trump. One could argue that neither felt that the networks they spoke with were going to be necessarily favorable to them—but they did it anyway. (Unlike today’s brave wonder who will break this tradition.

Other signs that are more troubling about the weekend’s celebrations are also present.

I am referring to the fighter plane flyover for big game.

This image is being shared on social media as a statement. It is certain that the broadcast will be noted for its unique and singular nature. 

The flyover will be conducted by women for the first time ever in history. 

It will be applauded. No doubt Jill Biden will be asked to comment on it (while she forgets the words to “Fly Eagles Fly.”)

It will be a total fraud.

This mission is not like flying in active duty missions. The main goal of the mission is to safely return to base and flyby.

So easy a flight school student could do it… sort of.

According to military commentariat sources, it is not the difficulty of the mission that matters. It’s your merit that qualifies to do this.

The White House won’t reveal that this flight crew wasn’t originally chosen. They won’t say that active-duty personnel on active-duty tours have been on actual missions. They won’t reveal that the NFOs and fighter pilots were already familiar with most of the pre-flight mission preparations. The White House will not tell you how abruptly the assignment was taken from them and given to a team of young girls, who are more or less fresh out of flight school.

Can they flyover the biggest game today? 

Sure. They haven’t earned it.

They were given the opportunity to make the glass ceiling appear broken because of the administration, as they did with so many other aspects American culture. 

It is yet another example of the Biden administration’s abuse of our military — propping it up to make a “statement.” This is in contrast to training the animal to fight best and win battles.

All fighter pilots know what a betrayal it is. But the Department of Defense, and the President themselves could care less.

This is yet another reason to do what my friend KT McFarland said on my show so many times. To get a new president elected in 2024, and to end all the woke brigades (3 stars and above), we need to transform our fighting force into a social construction organization. They are more concerned with pronouns that real-world dangers.

The Super Bowl was awarded to another team, but the Super Bowl team that won it was granted this spot.

It’s like if the NFL decided that today — for zero legit reasons the Bills should play the Cowboys. 

America’s meritocracy can be called one of its greatest virtues. 

If we can remain a nation of merit, then so.
