Kentucky Dems Cry Over Bill That Prevents Teachers From Being Forced to Use “Preferred Pronouns”

Kentucky’s state Senate recently passed a bill that prohibits school districts to require teachers to use their preferred pronouns. It also requires school officials and parents to inform parents if they provide certain services to students. “human sexuality” Or “family planning.”

Reginald Thomas, Democrat State Senator, argued that the bill would impose mandates on teachers and take rights away from parents who want to protect their children.

Republican state senator Max Wise filed the bill and responded that there was no mandate.

“There is nothing in this bill mandating, as it relates to pronouns … there is still the choice for teachers wishing to do so.”
