Karl Rove warns voters not to focus solely on age after Biden’s stumble.

Karl Rove: Biden’s Age a Concern in 2024 Election

“He’s running against a Republican opponent and the mortality table as well.”

Former adviser to President George W. Bush, Karl Rove, has raised concerns about President Joe Biden’s age and ability to serve a second term in the White House. Speaking on Fox News’s America Reports, Rove cited Biden’s recent fall at the U.S. Air Force Academy graduation as cause for concern.

The Numbers Don’t Lie

“He is already older than all but five presidents were at the time of their death,” Rove said. “And those presidents by and large had had an average retirement of 20-some-odd plus years by the time they passed from this Earth.”

Biden will be 82 shortly after the 2024 election and before the 2025 inauguration. Rove questions whether the country will be well-served by a president who will be 86 if he’s able to serve all four years.

Is Biden Up to the Job?

“If he’s not up to the job today, why do we think he’s going to get better?” Rove continued. “You covered the White House, I worked there seven years, we both know how demanding it is.”

While the White House has stated that Biden was “fine” after his fall, Rove’s concerns about the president’s age and ability to serve a second term are valid.

The 2024 Election

Biden announced in April that he will be seeking a second term in the White House in 2024. He is the oldest U.S. president in history. On the Democratic side, he is widely expected to be the nominee. On the Republican side, former President Donald Trump leads the field, with Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) in a distant second place.

As the 2024 election approaches, concerns about Biden’s age and ability to serve a second term will continue to be a topic of discussion.

  • Will Biden be able to handle the demands of the presidency at his age?
  • Is he up to the job?
  • Can he win against a Republican opponent?

These are all questions that will need to be answered as the 2024 election draws near.
