Kamala Harris’s false claims are beyond fact-checkers’ help.

Irony: The Left’s Hypocrisy⁢ on Affirmative Action

Do you remember how ⁢the⁢ left vehemently defended affirmative ‍action when the Supreme Court‍ ruled it⁣ unconstitutional ‍to base ‍college admissions on race? The outrage was palpable, with former first lady Michelle Obama expressing her heartbreak over Asian students no longer being discriminated against in ‍college admissions.

It ⁢seems that the left ⁢has⁢ a problem with a true meritocracy, but ⁣it appears that the rest of America is growing tired of their disregard for merit. Case in ‌point: Vice President Kamala Harris, a prime example of affirmative action, recently boasted about her popularity,‍ which was⁣ so outrageous that it had ‍to be fact-checked.

During an interview with ⁣ABC News, Harris was asked about her low‍ approval ratings. Instead of ⁢addressing the question directly, she claimed that there were polls showing her great approval ratings. However, this ⁢claim was quickly debunked ⁤by fact-checkers, who labeled it as false.

PolitiFact, a left-leaning fact-checking organization, stated that there were no recent public polls⁣ showing‍ Harris with great approval ratings. In fact, the average approval ratings for Harris have been consistently negative. Even left-leaning fact-checkers couldn’t provide cover for her.

It’s‍ clear that Harris⁢ is⁣ a prime example of the problems with affirmative action hires. When race ⁤and‍ gender are prioritized over merit, it often leads to ⁣unqualified individuals in positions of power. This is evident not ⁢only in ⁣Harris’ case⁤ but also in the appointment of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court.

Jackson, a black woman, has been heavily criticized for her⁤ performance on the Supreme Court, with⁤ Justice Clarence Thomas even eviscerating ⁢her ⁢in ⁤a majority opinion. It’s ‌clear⁣ that race-infused world views do not lead⁢ to success or competence.

The left’s obsession with race and their ⁤simultaneous complaints about race⁤ being an overriding factor in everything is paradoxical. It creates a framework where⁢ unqualified individuals can have a significant impact on the country. ⁤The examples of Jackson and Harris highlight the dangers of prioritizing identity over merit.

It’s time for America to reject ⁤this hypocrisy ⁣and⁢ embrace a true meritocracy.
