Jon Rahm Has Strong Final Round to Win the 87th Masters at Augusta National Golf Club

Jon Rahm won the 87th Masters at Augusta National Golf Club despite rain, downed branches, and extended Sunday use.

Rahm now has the second of four majors on his list of work victories, making this his first journey Masters victory. In 2021, he won the U.S. Open. Along with legend Seve Ballesteros, he is the next person from Spain to earn two degrees.

Rahm finished at 12 under after shooting a last round of 69, which included four strokes.

On this much Sunday, Brooks Koepka broke down in the meantime.

When he returned to Augusta National to complete his second round, which was postponed due to inclement weather on Saturday, the player had a four-stroke lead on the remaining portion of the industry.

For his second round, Koepka scored a 73, but Rahm finished four strokes behind him with the same rating. Rahm, on the other hand, maintained consistency in all facets of his game, whereas Koepka began to notice discrepancies in his last cycle.

He bogeyed holes 4, 6, and 9 with a three-over taken on the front nine. As he finished with a last round of 75 to begin 8-under on the week, his back nine was covered in both strokes and birdie.

In order to finish his week at 8 under and move up 18 spots on the leaderboard on Sunday, Phil Mickelson ended up shooting a 65 ( 7-under ).

Mickelson was beaming when he birdied five of his nine back holes — nine holes for a 31 — following the posting of three birdies, one bogey, and the 34 front.

Along with Koepka, Mickelson is one of the well-known figures at LIV Golf, which was a hot topic of discussion before the Masters. Masters invitations were unaffected by the PGA Tour and LIV Golf civil war, and other players like Patrick Reed ( T-4th ) achieved high leaderboard scores.

Jordan Spieth already made a push in the last round on Sunday, jumping 16 spots from his fourth round and scoring 66 in his last 18 holes. After the second round, Spieth shot a 76 to lose his position on the scoreboard, but he was determined to get back in the functioning.

Due to injury, TIGER WOODS withdrew from master.

In his final large, Spieth scored nine birdies overall, but the scorecard already revealed three of his bogeys. That includes one on the 18th tunnel to complete his competition.

After posting back-to-back shells of 68 to not only make the cut but also be in the running for the natural coat, professional Sam Bennett was a feel-good story throughout the week in addition to the big companies.

Bennett’s’s go suffered when he shot 76 in the second round, but despite hitting a birdie on the 18th opening to score 74, the roaring applause from the crowd left him overcome with emotion.

Bennett shot 2 with for the week of his career before finishing tied for 14th.
