Joe Concha torches Kamala Harris, turns fire on Republicans

Joe Concha, a Washington Examiner columnist, criticized Kamala Harris for aligning herself with socialist leaders, suggesting she is seeking the endorsement of the “unofficial leader” of the socialist movement within the Democratic Party. Concha argued that Harris might potentially be considering a presidential run in 2028, perhaps presenting herself as a left-wing candidate to appeal to primary voters, then shifting to the center in the general election. He noted that Harris’s repeated campaigns might backfire,as increased public exposure tends to hurt her popularity. Concha also pointed out that Republicans should capitalize on current economic conditions-such as falling gas prices and stock market gains under the Trump management-by questioning whether voters are better off compared to the Biden years. Additionally,he highlighted that if AOC runs for president, her socialist stance could draw support away from Harris. Concha emphasized that Harris’s strategy might involve pandering to the far Left during primaries and then moderating, which could undermine her chances. he called for Republicans to adjust thier messaging based on the political landscape.

Washington Examiner columnist Joe Concha slammed former Vice President Kamala Harris for “kissing the ring” of socialist leaders, and called on Republicans to change their messaging ahead of November.

“This is all about Kamala kissing the ring of the unofficial leader of the socialist wave taking over the Democrat Party, and getting his blessing,” Concha said on Fox News’s Fox & Friends First Thursday.

Concha’s comments come after New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani confirmed Harris reached out to him over the phone.

Concha indicated that this means Harris may be considering a presidential run in 2028, but argued that if Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) runs, Mamdani’s support will go to her [Cortez] since she’s the “actual socialist.”

“Kamala will simply be playing a socialist as a candidate on TV to pander to the far Left during the primaries, because that’s where the voters come out and that’s where the energy is,” Concha said.

“She will say or do anything to win the presidency.”

Concha argued that Harris would swing between first being left-wing and then to the center if she did secure a nomination.

“I think running a third time will not be a charm for Kamala Harris in the eyes of many Democrats,” Concha said.

Concha highlighted that it may be more challenging for Harris to secure votes if she is nominated, because she will face two years of campaigning.

“As we’ve seen, the more people that get to know Kamala Harris, the worse it is for Kamala Harris,” Concha said.

Concha said Republicans need to rethink their strategy for the November elections based on “conditions on the ground.”

Concha noted that under the Trump administration, gas prices are falling and the Dow Jones is up. He also said that the inflation rate was very high under the Biden administration.

“I think Republicans just have to go on the offensive and say, ‘Are you better off now than you were during the Biden years?’ and I think that that would resonate,” Concha said.
