Joe Concha says Minnesota ‘importing the chaos’ from Somalia
Joe Concha, a Washington Examiner columnist, criticized Rep.Ilhan omar for denying an alleged Somali fraud scheme in Minnesota, saying on Fox Business that every other state official has acknowledged the problem. Omar told MS Now that Immigration and Customs Enforcement has been unable to produce evidence that it is finding undocumented people or criminals; Concha responded that she represents Minneapolis, where much of the alleged fraud occurred. He accused the Somali community of “importing the chaos” and said Somalis had “fleeced the state for billions,” called Omar’s comments lies, compared her to “baghdad Bob,” and faulted MS Now for not challenging her remarks. The article presents Concha’s commentary and criticisms rather than self-reliant verification of the claims.
Joe Concha says Minnesota ‘importing the chaos’ from Somalia
Washington Examiner columnist Joe Concha said all the Minnesota elected officials have acknowledged the Somali fraud scheme in the state except for Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN).
“No one is denying [the fraud] except for, I guess, Ilhan Omar, who is living in an alternate universe where I guess MS Now allows her to live,” Concha said on Fox Business’s Evening Edit.
Omar said on MS Now that Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials have not been able to “produce any evidence” that they are “finding” people who are undocumented or have committed crimes.
Concha said that, regardless of Omar’s statements, she is the congresswoman representing the district where the fraud is occurring.
“In the end, this is all going to come to fruition,” Concha said. “She was and is a congresswoman that represents Minneapolis, where a lot of this fraud happened, and it happened because of the Somalian community, because of importing the chaos that they have.”
“And bringing in hundreds of thousands of Somalis that have obviously fleeced the state for billions of dollars that they may never get back,” Concha added.
Concha said Omar is telling “lies” about the Somali fraud in Minnesota on MS Now.
“I guess that Baghdad Bob had a long-lost daughter. I think we just found her, it’s Ilhan Omar,” Concha said. “The lies that she is telling, and you may notice all those clips played are from a network called MS Now, where she could just say these lies, not be challenged, and have bobbleheads in terms of so-called anchors nodding along.”
