Jimmy Kimmel gets Spencer Pratt a U-Haul after primary loss
Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel mocked Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt after Pratt lost the primary. Kimmel referenced Pratt’s claim that he would leave Los Angeles if Karen Bass or Nithya Raman won, joking that Pratt must go adn that the show rented him a U-Haul to make his exit easier. Pratt-who fell behind Raman and later responded on X-pushed back, saying he doesn’t need a U-Haul and has nothing left to pack.
Late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel trolled Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt on Tuesday, renting him a U-Haul after his primary loss.
Kimmel’s monologue comes after Pratt said he would leave the city if incumbent Mayor Karen Bass or city councilwoman Nithya Raman were elected for mayor, and that he would be done “trying to live in LA.”

“He clearly promised that if Karen Bass or Nithya Raman were elected mayor, he was going to move out of LA, he said he was done with LA. Spencer, if you’re watching, we are so so sorry to see you go,” Kimmel said on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
“You’re a man of your word and you’ve gotta go. You said you were gonna go. And I know things might be tight right now, especially [because] out-of-state donation money is running out. Moving is expensive, so to help you out, we rented you a U-Haul,” Kimmel said.
Pratt fell behind in the Los Angeles mayoral primary to Raman, who advanced to a runoff against Bass.
Kimmel mocked Pratt, saying, “It’s plenty of room. It’s got two bags, table chairs, all your crystals. Our staff took the whole day decorating it for you, everybody will notice you and wave goodbye as you leave.”

“I hope that you and Heidi are happy wherever it is you do. Maybe you could be mayor there, or just run for mayor and finish in third place. It could be fun for your new reality show. Either way, mazel tov and goodbye, Spencer Pratt,” Kimmel said.
Pratt responded to Kimmel on X on Wednesday, saying, “Jimmy Kimmel I guess you missed the part of the story I don’t need a U-Haul… I have nothing left to pack.”
