Jim Jordan to probe alleged DOJ spying on congressional staffers.
Investigation Launched into Alleged Spying on Congressional Staff and Members of Congress
Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) has announced a groundbreaking investigation by the Judiciary Committee into the Department of Justice’s alleged spying on congressional staff and members of Congress. This revelation comes in the wake of reports that Jason Foster, former chief investigative counsel for Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), was purportedly subjected to surveillance by the DOJ. Jordan revealed this investigation during an appearance on Fox News Business.
Uncovering the Truth: Were Members of Congress Spied On?
“We now have evidence that they spied on congressional staffers,” Jordan boldly declared on Fox Business. “But we need to dig deeper. Were they also spying on members of Congress? What about other staff members? Let’s not forget, Liz, that we already know they spied on President Trump’s campaign. The FISA Court exposed their actions with Carter Page and Papadopoulos. And now, we’ve discovered that they spied on Jason Foster, a member of Senator Grassley’s team.”

Unveiling the Extent of the Surveillance
“We need to determine the full extent of this surveillance,” Jordan emphasized. “That’s why we’ve sent letters not only to the Department of Justice but also to the carriers that collaborated with them to obtain phone and email records of congressional staffers like Mr. Foster. How far does this rabbit hole go? Were members of Congress and other staff also subjected to spying?”
Jordan, as the former chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, has made it his mission to investigate allegations of the DOJ’s potential misuse of power under the Biden administration.
