Jill Biden’s ‘Pwadueh’ And Other Top Pandering Moments From Desperate Democrats

The subject of identity is central for the intersectionality-obsessed political Left. According to their flawed ideology, we are all characterized entirely by categories like skin color, religion, supposed “country of origin,” or gender.

In line with these beliefs, politicians feel the constant need to pander to these base-level assumptions, as if the laziest nod to some immutable characteristic is evidence of identity-related kinship.

Here are some of the most memorable times Democratic politicians shamelessly pandered to their audience.

Jill Biden — “Pwadueh”

During an event speaking to farmworkers on the birthday of Cesar Chavez, First Lady Jill Biden “was mocked and criticized … after a botched attempt to speak Spanish.”

“So say it with me,” she declared to the crowd. “Si se pwadueh! The future is ours!”

“It’s ‘Si se puede’ (Yes you/we can) not ‘Si se pwadueh,’” RGA Deputy Communications Director Joanna Rodriguez, who is fluent in Spanish, tweeted. “I can’t even imagine what word she was trying to say. Seriously why even try pandering if you’re going to butcher it and not practice before?!”

Joe Biden — Despacito

In September 2020, “Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden was widely slammed … over an incident that was described as embarrassing and patronizing where he played a Spanish sex song in an apparent attempt to connect with Latino voters.”

“I just have one thing to say,” Biden said as brandished his phone. “Hang on here.”

“Biden then played ‘Despacito,’ a top song from a few years ago, that means ‘slowly’ in English. The song is sexually graphic in nature,” added the Daily Wire.

Elizabeth Warren — Collard Greens and Cornbread

In February 2020, the Washington Post reported that “Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) took hip-hop artist and activist Benny Starr to Bertha’s Kitchen, a black-owned restaurant in North Charleston, where she ate collard greens and cornbread but passed on the fried chicken and sweet tea.”

“Warren has, like Sanders, been working to build support among nonwhite voters for months, albeit with fewer financial resources,” the Washington Post added.

Pete Buttigieg — Fried Chicken

In April 2019, now-Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg traveled to Harlem to kiss the ring of Al Sharpton, hoping to gain his support in his bid for the Democratic Party nomination.

“Democratic presidential hopeful Pete Buttigieg met Monday with the Rev. Al Sharpton, as the Indiana mayor faces scrutiny of his record on race and is stepping up his outreach to African Americans,” reported NBC New York.

“Buttigieg and the civil rights leader met for lunch in Harlem at Sylvia’s Restaurant, a cornerstone of black American culture where Sharpton has long brokered difficult racial conversations with embattled political leaders,” the report continued.

“Buttigieg spent more than an hour at the restaurant, where he ate fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and collard greens before shaking hands with customers,” NBC New York added.

Robert “Beto” O’Rourke and Cory Booker — Speaking Spanish…For No Reason

“Beto” O’Rourke, who is of Irish descent, decided to answer his first response at the MSNBC Democratic primary debate in June 2019 in Spanish, for no apparent reason.

His decision to pander to Latino voters on an entirely new level sparked immediate reactions from other Democrats, who later decided to emulate O’Rourke’s bilingual self-aggrandizement.

In addition to becoming an overnight meme, Cory Booker was quick to pull out “his own language skills a short time later when the subject turned to immigration,” according to CNN.

Hillary Clinton — Hot Sauce

Speaking with “one of New York’s largest hip-hop and R&B stations, 105.1 FM’s the Breakfast Club, a morning radio show hosted by DJ Envy, Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God” in 2016, Hillary Clinton was asked to name something she carries with her, wherever she goes.

“Hot sauce,” she answered. “Yeah.”

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Hillary Clinton — Fake Southern Accents

In 2019, the Blaze asked “Who did the fake Southern accent better?”

The first part of the clip was Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who “faced intense backlash … after she used an accent to talk to a predominately black audience at Al Sharpton’s National Action Network.”

“This is what organizing looks like, this is what building power looks like, this is what changing the country looks like,” Ocasio-Cortez said in a southern accent while speaking in New York City. “I’m proud to be a bartender, ain’t nothin wrong with that.”

The second part of the clip was Hillary Clinton, quoting James Cleveland.

“‘I don’t feel no ways tired. I come too far from where I started from. Nobody told me that the road would be easy. I don’t believe He brought me this far,’ drawled presidential aspirant Hillary Clinton, mimicking black voice to a black audience, at the First Baptist Church of Selma, Alabama,” wrote Walter Williams in 2007. “I’m wondering if Mrs. Clinton visits an Indian reservation she might cozy up to them saying, ‘How! Me not tired. Me come heap long way. Road mighty rough. Sky Spirit no bring me this far.’ Or, seeking the Asian vote she might say, ‘I no wray tired. Come too far I started flum. Road berry clooked. Number one Dragon King take me far.’”

“The occasion of Mrs. Clinton’s speech was the 42nd anniversary of Bloody Sunday, on March 7, 1965, when 600 civil rights marchers were attacked by police with billy clubs, cattle prods and tear gas, one of the high points in the black civil rights struggle. Commemorating a key point in American history is one thing, but a white person mimicking black dialect is demeaning and insulting. And, if it buys her votes from those in attendance, not much flattering can be said about them,” Williams added.

Nancy Pelosi — Kente Cloths and Arthritis

In October 2020, “Alongside Sen. Kamala Harris, Sen. Chuck Schumer, and other members of Congress, Speaker Pelosi introduced the Justice in Policing Act of 2020 swathed in identical kente stoles.”

In unison, the Democrats then “took a knee” to add to their pandering. Unfortunately, Nancy Pelosi then needed to be dragged back to her feet by an aide.
