Jill Biden ‘worst spouse of the century’: Joe Concha
Joe Concha,a columnist for the *Washington Examiner*,criticized former First lady Jill Biden for what he called a cover-up of concerns about President Joe Biden’s health after the 2024 debate with Donald Trump. He said her remarks came during a CBS News interview on *Sunday Morning* promoting her memoir, *View from the East Wing*, where she described being “frightened” by Joe Biden’s debate performance adn thought he might be having a stroke.
Concha argued that her reaction-describing a stroke on national television-was inconsistent with taking Joe to a Waffle House afterward, and he mocked the sequence on Fox News’s *Hannity*. He further accused Jill Biden of misleading the public to help her own political standing and painted Joe Biden’s fitness for office in harsh terms. *View from the East Wing* is set to be released on June 2.
Washington Examiner columnist Joe Concha blasted former first lady Jill Biden for allegedly covering up concerns over the health of former President Joe Biden after a 2024 debate with then-presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Biden’s concerns were brought to light during a sit-down interview on CBS News’s Sunday Morning as part of a tour to promote her new memoir, View from the East Wing.

Biden said she was “frightened” by her husband’s performance in the debate and thought he was having a stroke.
“If you say that you thought that your husband was having a stroke on national television during a debate, and then after that debate, you literally take him to the Waffle House, that’s not a good thing,” Concha said on Fox News’s Hannity Thursday.
“If we’re handing out awards here for worst spouse of the century, Dr. Jill Biden certainly is the front-runner.”
After the 2024 debate, Joe stopped at a Waffle House, where he bought campaign aides dinner.
“It’s like, ‘Hey, Joe, do you want more butter and syrup with that waffle? It’s great for the heart.’ I mean, somebody get a defibrillator,” Concha said.
“If my wife thinks I’m having a stroke, I’m pretty sure she’s not taking me there, probably a hospital,” he said.
Concha criticized Biden for calling on the public to support her husband despite rumors of his cognitive decline.
“She was willing to support Joe Biden, whose brain turned to applesauce many years ago,” Concha said.
Concha said Jill was trying to “mislead the country” so she could be first lady, thinking “only of herself and her own power.”
Joe “wasn’t fit to be a golf starter at your local golf course, let alone the president of the United States,” Concha said.

Concha said he “can’t imagine” anyone who buys Biden’s book, and said even Democrats are angry at her.
