Jennifer Aniston Speaks Out Against “Cancel Culture”
In a recent interview, Jennifer Aniston expressed her frustration with ”cancel culture” and acknowledged that her own comments might lead to her being canceled.
The 54-year-old actress, speaking to The Wall Street Journal, emphasized that while she was not personally harassed by disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, she does not believe in lumping everyone who has done something wrong together.
Jennifer Aniston said she was never harassed by Harvey Weinstein, but “he came to visit me on a movie… And I do remember consciously having a person stay in my trailer.” https://t.co/2XBAcOOK1V

Aniston reflected on her encounters with Weinstein, describing how he made people feel nervous. She recalled a specific incident when he showed up at her movie trailer to pitch her something, prompting her to have someone stay with her for safety.
“He’s not a guy you’re like, ‘God, I can’t wait to hang out with Harvey [Weinstein],'” Aniston candidly stated. “Never. You were actually like, ‘Oh, God, OK, suck it up.'”
The #MeToo movement in 2017 brought Weinstein’s alleged sexual misconduct to light, with numerous stars accusing him. He is currently serving a 39-year prison sentence for rape and sexual assault, as reported by Variety.
Weinstein himself told WSJ that Aniston never experienced any uncomfortable situations with him.

In 2020, an email from Weinstein surfaced in which he expressed a desire for Aniston’s death, as reported by Variety. The email was a response to media inquiries regarding allegations that Weinstein had groped the “Murder Mystery” star.
At the time, Aniston’s representative stated that the claims were false and that Jennifer had not been harassed or assaulted by Harvey.
