Jen Psaki MSNBC show premiere sees strong numbers, beats Fox News in key demographic

Former press secretary Jen Psaki’s new show on MSNBC garnered strong ratings during its debut, outpacing Fox News in the coveted 25-54 age demographic.

Psaki’s show, Inside with Jen Psaki, premiered at 12 p.m. on Sunday. According to ratings, her show brought in 1,094,000 viewers, almost doubling the number of viewers from the program prior to hers on MSNBC. In comparison, Fox News Live had 1,106,000 viewers at the same time, but Psaki’s show had 137,000 viewers from the key 25-54 demographic that advertisers look for, while Fox News Live only had 123,000 viewers in that demographic.

Psaki’s debut episode featured interviews with notable figures such as House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI), and New York City Mayor Eric Adams. Whether her show will maintain this momentum and compete with Fox News remains to be seen.
