JD Vance reveals he thinks aliens are actually demons

During a wide-ranging interview on The Benny show, JD Vance suggested that what people call aliens might actually be demons, and he expressed interest in reviewing classified data about ufos and Area 51. He framed his views through a religious lens, arguing that unexplained phenomena fit spiritual explanations more than extraterrestrial ones, and that major world religions acknowledge strange realities. The piece notes renewed public and political interest in UFOs, including jokes from Obama and a Trump pledge to declassify related files, and it also features Vance defending the MAGA movement while pushing back against Joe Rogan’s criticisms.

JD Vance suggests aliens are actually demons during podcast interview

Vice President JD Vance cast doubt on the nature of extraterrestrial life in a wide-ranging podcast interview, suggesting that so-called “aliens” may instead be demons.

Appearing on The Benny Show, hosted by right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson, Vance talked about extraterrestrials and offered an unexpected take.

“I don’t think they’re aliens. I think they’re demons anyway, but that’s a longer discussion,” Vance said.

The vice president added that he has long been fascinated by the subject and hinted at his interest in reviewing classified information during his time in office.

“I’m obsessed with this… I’ve got three years of the very tippy top of the classification, I’m gonna get to the bottom of it,” he said, referencing potential trips to places such as Area 51 that never materialized.

Vance framed his skepticism of alien life through a religious lens, saying accounts of unexplained phenomena align more closely with spiritual interpretations than extraterrestrial ones.

“Every great world religion, including Christianity, the one that I believe in, has understood that there are weird things out there,” he said. “There’s a lot of good out there, but there’s also some evil out there — and I think one of the devil’s great tricks is to convince people he never existed.”

Vance’s remarks around extraterrestrial life come amid renewed public and political interest in the subject.

Earlier this year, former President Barack Obama joked about the existence of aliens.

“They’re real, but I haven’t seen them… They’re not being kept at Area 51,” Obama said in an interview with Brian Tyler Cohen.

Shortly after Obama’s interview, President Donald Trump pledged to release more government information related to UFOs, ordering agencies to declassify relevant files.

Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) backed the effort, calling it a “bipartisan thing.”

A federal website tied to the disclosure effort has reportedly been registered, though the rollout has faced bureaucratic delays. Vance said the Trump administration was “working on it” in the interview.

Vance says MAGA has ‘fewer’ dorks than the Left

Vance’s interview with Johnson also touched on recent comments by podcaster Joe Rogan, who described parts of the MAGA movement as “dorks” and “unintelligent,” while acknowledging some “genuine patriots.”

TRUMP JOKES HEGSETH DOESN’T WANT IRAN WAR TO END

Vance pushed back on Rogan’s comments, saying, “I think we have many, many fewer dorks than the far-left.”

Vance’s defenses of the MAGA movement come as Trump joked in a Friday speech that he likes to “hang out with losers” because it makes him “feel better,” drawing laughter from the crowd.
