Jasmine Crockett stumps in Virginia for Democrats while spurning Talarico
Jasmine Crockett, a Democratic representative from Texas, traveled to Virginia this week to support fellow Democrat Eugene Vindman in his campaign for teh state’s 7th Congressional District, despite not campaigning in her home state’s Senate race. Crockett, who previously ran for Texas Senate in 2026 but lost in the Democratic primary, has since focused on campaigning for U.S. House candidates in Texas and out-of-state districts like Vindman’s, rather than supporting her state’s Senate nominee.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) was in Virginia this week to campaign for Rep. Eugene Vindman (D-VA) in the Old Dominion’s 7th Congressional District as she stays off the Texas Senate campaign trail.
Crockett, who ran for Texas Senate in 2026 but fell in the heated Democratic primary to State Rep. James Talarico, backed Talarico in his race against Republican state Attorney General Ken Paxton, but has not yet campaigned with the Democratic Senate nominee in her home state. Instead, Crockett has campaigned for downballot U.S. House candidates in Texas and now hits out-of-state marginal districts, like Vindman’s.
