James O’Keefe Resigns From Project Veritas: Reports

James O’Keefe was the Project Veritas CEO. This is reportedly after staffers claimed that he created a hostile work environment.

O’Keefe is the founder of Project Veritas, a nonprofit that was famous for its sting operations. In 2011, he read his resignation letter to the Project Veritas Board of Directors at Mamaroneck in New York. OANN.

Project Veritas was reached by The Daily Wire to provide comment.

The public was first to learn of Project Veritas’ internal turmoil via the Intelligencer website of New York Magazine. Reported on February 8, 2008 O’Keefe was granted a paid leave of absence from his leadership role while the board considered his future.

According to the report, Project Veritas Executive director Daniel Strack told staffers via an internal memo that O’Keefe would take over as Project Veritas Director. “a few weeks of well-deserved PTO.”
