Jack Smith faces Senate hearing over Trump investigations
Jack Smith, the former special counsel who has twice indicted President Donald trump, is scheduled to testify before Senate republicans on Tuesday morning. He will be the only witness at a 9 a.m. Senate Judiciary Committee hearing titled “Oversight of Jack Smith’s Abuse of Authority and the Targeting of Republicans and Related Matters.” This appearance marks his second appearance before a Republican-controlled congressional committee, having previously testified before the House in January.
