A well-known Ivy League economist criticized the United States at a recent Chinese Communist Party business forum, saying that American leaders were” undermining” Chinese businesses like TikTok and” escalating” trade tensions with Beijing.

Sachs has become a leading opponent of American foreign policy and is regarded as one of the most prominent economists in the world.
