The Comedian is Grateful Despite Suffering Injuries

Former late-night TV host Jay Leno recently spoke about two recent accidents that left him with third-degree burns and multiple broken bones. Despite the injuries, Leno remains positive and grateful for his life.

Leno stated that the accidents were just that – accidents – and he feels lucky to have survived them. He joked that if they were deliberate, he would have reason to complain. Leno also acknowledged that he has a lot to be grateful for, including surviving the accidents without losing an eye or being horribly disfigured.

In November 2022, Leno suffered third-degree burns to his hands and face after a fuel line leak caused an explosion. He underwent grafting procedures to treat his injuries. In January, he was hospitalized again after a motorcycle accident that left him with broken bones.

Despite the injuries, Leno remains positive and grateful for his life. He joked about the accidents and even connected his motorcycle accident to headlines about Jeremy Renner’s near-fatal snow plow accident. Leno’s positive attitude is a reminder to be grateful for what we have, even in the face of adversity.
