Since Hamas’ attack on October 7, Hezbollah has carried out numerous small-scale attacks on Israel, resulting in the evacuation of dozens of towns in northern Israel and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Israelis.
Israel has made it clear that any ceasefire agreement reached with Hamas in Gaza will not apply to its conflict with Hezbollah in the north.
