Hasbulla Magomedov, the 20-year-old TikTok sensation and UFC promoter, was arrested on Sunday for violating traffic laws in Dagestan, Russia. He and six others were seen blocking traffic and doing doughnuts on a main road with their vehicles after attending a wedding. The incident was captured on video and posted by Red Corner MMA.

Arrested for Traffic Violations

According to Dagestan’s Internal Affairs, Hasbulla and his friends were interfering with other drivers by drifting in the middle of a highway. The group was taken into custody and charged with administrative violations.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs in Dagestan commented on the incident, saying, “Unbridled wedding fun in Dagestan is known to many and extends far beyond the borders of the republic.”

“All participants of ‘wedding emotions,’ as they themselves call it, were taken to the police, and in relation to them, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan drew up administrative protocols for all violations.”

Hasbulla’s Rise to Fame

Hasbulla, who suffers from a form of dwarfism caused by a growth hormone deficiency, rose to fame during the pandemic after posting clips of himself driving a motorized scooter and lecturing a kid riding a bicycle about COVID restrictions. He stands just over 3 feet tall and has amassed over 8 million followers on Instagram.

Following his arrest, Hasbulla’s Instagram account posted an apology, saying, “We decided to hype a little bit. That won’t happen again, people. We apologize. I wasn’t driving either.”

Hasbulla’s official Twitter account has also posted the hashtag #FreeBulla, but it is not yet known if he and his entourage will face any jail time.
