“These depraved illegal aliens were convicted for child sex trafficking,” DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis told the Washington Examiner in an email. “One of them was released into the country by the Biden administration. Now, thanks to the hard work of the brave men and women of ICE law enforcement, partner agencies, and our state and local partners, these child traffickers will be behind bars for years. Under the Biden administration, unaccompanied minors were placed with unvetted sponsors who were actually smugglers and sex traffickers. President [Donald] Trump and Secretary Mullin are committing to locating these children and holding child sex traffickers accountable.”

These horrific criminal monsters were stopped because of DHS and ICE, a reality that happens many times, yet is dismissed, ignored, or covered up by liberals, socialists, communists, and other left-wing politicians and ideologues in the Democratic Party. Ramirez-Fernandez and Perez-Martinez were found guilty on charges of “conspiracy to traffic a child and transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity,” reported DHS. Additionally, Perez-Martinez was found guilty on charges of “benefitting from sex trafficking of children and aiding and abetting coercion and enticement.”

DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin recognized this harrowing reality while testifying to Congress last week about child trafficking victims in the country. After going over the appalling details of some of the criminal acts endured by the victims, he said their plight was completely preventable, but the left-wing ideologues running rampant in the Biden administration failed the innocent children victims.

“What frustrates me the most is that this was preventable, and no one can argue that,” said Mullin. “This was 100% preventable. We have perpetrators that are doing the most horrific things to kids, and as a father to six, and three beautiful girls, when you see this, there’s evil in the world … and we fed it. The Biden administration fed it for four years.”

Ramirez-Fernandez received 150 months in prison, while Perez-Martinez was sentenced to 241 months. The crimes they committed could have been avoided. The victims of Ramirez-Fernandez and Perez-Martinez could have been spared and protected from these monsters. Yet radical illegal immigration ideologues chose to prioritize their political beliefs over human welfare.

It is important to note, and arguably even more important to never forget, that it was Biden and the Democrats who created these terrible situations and enabled these monsters. It is the Trump administration, DHS, and ICE that are ending it, bringing accountability to criminals, and courageously working to prevent violent criminal illegal immigrants from harming innocent women and children.

The Biden administration created a dangerous and evil mess. Trump, Mullin, DHS, and ICE are working around the clock to clean it up, protecting the defenseless from the criminal monsters that Democrats, socialists, communists, and others on the Left in the Biden administration let into the country.
