A waitress who worked at a recent star-studded event claims that actor Alec Baldwin insulted her by calling her a “peasant” after she attempted to serve him and other Hollywood celebrities. The incident occurred at the 2023 PEN America Spring Literary Gala in New York City, where Baldwin reportedly belittled the working woman. According to the waitress, Baldwin was rude, crass, sarcastic, and demeaning when she politely asked him to move aside so that servers could walk through the tables. She tried to de-escalate the situation, but her colleagues later informed her that Baldwin had called her a “peasant” after she walked away. The woman noted that Baldwin was the only person at the event who was rude to her.

Baldwin’s History of Bad Behavior

This is not the first time Baldwin has been accused of bad behavior. In 2019, he was involved in a shooting on the set of a film that resulted in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. While he is no longer facing trial for the incident, Baldwin’s temper has been well-documented over the years.
