Ian Haworth: Why Is Kanye West Pandering to Those Who Hate Him?

Why is Kanye West pandering to those who hate him?

Do you know how bat-shit insane you have to be to make Alex Jones feel awkward?

“Well, I see good things about Hitler, also. Every human being has value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler,” Kanye West announced on Alex Jones’ InfoWars show, before adding that “we gotta stop dissing the Nazis all the time,” and that he “like[s] Hitler.”

Now, Kanye West’s descent into increasingly radical craziness is hardly anything surprising to those who have been covering this ongoing saga with any intellectual honesty. Kanye West was openly antisemitic when he declared he was going “death con 3” on “JEWISH PEOPLE,” and he’s antisemitic now that he’s praising Hitler and blaming the Jews for everything wrong with the world.

Of course, much of this is the result of various ideological devils whispering into the ear of Kanye West, many of whom are hungrily waiting for scraps of cash or cultural clout that might fall to the ground. And, of course, it’s also likely true that Kanye West is in the depths of the most public mental breakdown in modern memory.

But it’s also becoming clear that Kanye West means what he says: he hates Jews.

Which explains his apparent adoration of Hitler, history’s most infamous antisemite.

But there’s just one problem: Hitler wouldn’t have adored Kanye West in return.

Under Hitler, black Germans were “socially and economically ostracized,” and “imprisoned or sent to internment or concentration camps,” where they were “often treated more harshly and subjected to medical experiments or extreme brutality.” Black prisoners of war were also worked to death or murdered indiscriminately.

Not only that, mixed race marriages were outlawed, with hundreds of biracial children sterilized.

Kanye West’s children with Kim Kardashian would have fallen into this category.

Yes, it’s hard to know for sure where Kanye West ends and those whispering into his ear begin. But while Kanye West continues to spread literally pro-Hitler propaganda as part of his bizarre antisemitic campaign, perhaps he should consider what Hitler and the white supremacist/nationalist audience he is presumably pandering to would eventually do with him once he serves their purpose…
